It is regarded as the next-generation ultimate technology of the lithium battery route. Compared with liquid lithium batteries, all-solid-state batteries use solid electrolytes to replace the liquid electrolytes and separators in traditional liquid batteries, eliminating the risks of thermal runaway and explosion caused by electrolyte leakage, and have a higher volumetric energy density. From the perspective of energy storage application fields, solid-state batteries can smooth out the fluctuations of renewable energy by storing and releasing electrical energy, thereby enhancing the stability and reliability of the power grid. During peak electricity demand periods, solid-state batteries can provide additional power. Due to its high safety, solid-state batteries are also more suitable for home energy storage.
